In this fast-paced environment, your expertise will help ensure every prescription meets the highest standards.In this position you will monitor and assure compliance to State and Federal Rules and Regulations, FDA requirements, manufacturer contractual Adverse Event and Product Complaint clinical requirements and complete general Product Verification Checks.Location: This position is onsite at our Whitestown, IN location.Schedule: This is a 2nd shift position Monday through Friday 2:30 pm -11:00 pm.Essential FunctionsProvide oversight and quality assurance to pharmacy technicians.Replenish automated counting equipmentPerform product verification of technician prepared itemsAddress orders with patient specific special handling requestsDirect supervision of technicians working in all areas of the pharmacyOpening, closing, and securing of pharmacy during production hoursFill liquid orders requiring pharmacist dispensingMaintain quality and efficiency expectationsAdhere to all state and federal regulations surrounding pharmacy practiceTraining of other pharmacists and/or technicians in functionsBack up other pharmacists as needed, perform additional duties as assigned by management, or train less experienced pharmacists.QualificationsGraduate of ACPE Accreditation School of Pharmacy with a B.S.
